Victoria Kamara
This is Victoria Kamara who is one of our beneficiaries in the North of Sierra Leone, she lost both her parents during the war and Ebola. She was sent to live with her aunt who couldn't help fund her education, she was part of the first group of girls that we enrolled as part of our girls support initiative in 2013 to enable them to access education and achieve their dreams. She wanted to be a lawyer. She is in her second year at university with our support. She has also escaped the early marriage tradition that most families practice due to poverty. And prove that girls can achieve at school as well as boys.
She is now the one that delivers our programmes as we focus to help more girls. Assisting and seeing them at university achieving their dreams gives us a sense of satisfaction.
